Kate Zigtema

Ms. Zigtema graduated from Georgetown University with her degrees in International Business and Finance.  Following Georgetown, she returned home to Kansas where she obtained her law degree from the University of Kansas in 2007.  Ms Zigtema excelled in written and oral advocacy during her time at KU, winning awards in International Moot Court competitions.

Ms. Zigtema began practicing law in the Wichita Area with a private firm. While there, she expanded the firm to the Kansas City Area.  Ms. Zigtema opened her own practice in 2013.

Ms. Zigtema was selected as one of the Top 40 under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association.  She is a board member and the continuing education committee chair for the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.  She is a member of the Earl O’Connor Inn of Court.  She is also a member of the Johnson County Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, and the Kansas Women Attorney’s Association.
